Provides day-to-day care to 3-4 infants or toddlers in an Early Head Start classroom. Focus on building positive relationships with children and families and using an approved developmentally appropriate curriculum which promotes routines, social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth of children in the program. 40 hours/week 52 weeks/year
Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Certification in First-Aid, CPR, Child Abuse & Neglect and Communicable Disease must be maintained. Must obtain infant/toddler CDA within one year from hire.
Assist the CSBG Director in all facets of the homeownership program, which includes facilitating the Homeownership Training Program, Down Payment Assistance Program, Foreclosure and Home Repair Assistance, public relations, client recruitment and networking with realtors, lenders, attorneys, local and state government and other similar programs.
Teach homeownership and financial literacy classes and make presentations to the general public.
Determine client’s eligibility and review their credit reports to assist them in the application process.
Attend homeownership closings to advocate for the client and ensure fair lending during the closing process.
Attend meetings and participate in community organizations that promote homeownership.
Maintain records accurately.
The candidate will assist in Head Start Enrollment and follow up with families to meet the paperwork and form requirement for enrollment success.
Must possess an AA in Human Services or Social Services. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong multi-task and organizational habits and computer experience a requirement. The candidate will be the backup for the receptionist at the front desk which includes the management of a multi-line phone system.
Working in the Classroom with Teacher in developing and educating children to their fullest potential by utilizing the latest curriculum. Candidate must possess an AA degree in Early Childhood Education and/or current CDA Certification.
