Planning and Development Director

Responsible for some grant writing, application submission, community needs and assessment, developing plans for Agency grants and programs. Identifying and securing new resources. Will be responsible for maintain relationships with IT and some contractors.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field or in process of obtaining a degree.
  • Skills: Must possess good public speaking skills as well as excellent writing skills. Must have excellent communications skills and the ability to establish rapport and maintain effective working relations with community representative, coworkers and funding sources. Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in a public or nonprofit sector.

Act as an assistant for the Centralized Intake Director, on organizing and prioritizing and gathering information, file review, determining eligibility, reporting and ensure enrollment for all agency programming in compliance with individual policies, procedures and requirements for each program. Assist Intake Director with monthly PSA, grants. Complete required reports for Housing, HEAP/PIPP, HCRP and other emergency assistance programming

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
  • Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively- written and verbal. Must have the ability to assist and relate to a diverse population. Ability to complete reports. Must have computer skills needed to complete all reporting and data analysis. Ability to advocate for low-income clients in the community.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in a related field.

Under supervision, provides direct client services for Auglaize, Hardin, and/or Van Wert County for adult and youth Employment and Training Services Programs in the areas of employment counseling, client needs assessment, vocational evaluation, employment preparation, and training, referral to community resources and support services, program eligibility, and/or job development/placement

Van Driver

Responsible for loading passengers, materials, goods, equipment between various destinations as assigned. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods or passengers to ensure timely and accurate transportation. Responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation.

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience driving a van or other large vehicle is preferred. Knowledge of reading Maps and Directions.
